A banded, bronze-toned building with deep horizontal shadow lines is dropped into a grey block of neighbours and an existing courtyard perimeter, on a mitred base mounted for gallery display on a red plinth.

The context is intentionally mute and matte — no colour, no glazing reflections, no competing detail — so that in a lit gallery the proposal is the only thing in the case that has a material.
